The 2nd Maryland Infantry Co. A is a Civil War reenacting unit that participates in reeanctments and living histories determined to recreate and educate the public on the Civil War. Our unit travels to various locations in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and North Carolina to portray the Confederate soldier. Recently, the unit has considered galvanizing (portraying Union soldiers) when the event has a need. Members come various backgrounds and live in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Delaware and even New York.
